Why did you create these books?

As teachers, we saw how important human skills are becoming in a rapidly changing world. We wanted to create books that help children build the skills that technology can’t replace.

What age are the books for?

Our books are designed for children aged approximately 6–12, with stories and discussion prompts that can grow with your child over time. They’re designed to be enjoyed together, making them perfect for shared reading at home or meaningful conversations in the classroom.

Who are the books designed for?

The books are designed for both families and educators, with discussion prompts and ideas that work beautifully in classrooms, wellbeing programs, and at home.

What’s inside each book?

Each book is divided into two parts. The first half is a beautifully illustrated rhyming story that follows a character developing an important human skill, perfect for reading at home or in the classroom. The second half introduces a simple thinking framework and practical activities to help children deeply understand and practise the skill in everyday life.

Where do you ship?

We currently ship within Australia. If you’re located overseas, please reach out to us at hello@thehumanskillslibrary.com. We’d love to see what we can do.

How much is postage?

Postage is a flat rate of $11 Australia-wide.

Do you accept returns?

We offer returns in line with Australian Consumer Law. As a small business just getting started, we’re unable to offer returns for change of mind at this stage. However, if there is an issue with your order or you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us at [your email] and we’ll do our best to make it right.
