Each 50+ page softcover book is divided into two parts. The first part is a rhyming story that follows a character developing an important human skill. The second part is a guide, teaching a simple thinking framework and practical activities to help children deeply understand and practise the skill in everyday life.

Ashleigh and Jordana are teachers based in Sydney, Australia. Drawing on their experience across business, technology and education, with backgrounds in psychology and philosophy, their books and resources are grounded in years of designing school programs to make skills like critical thinking, creativity, resilience and empathy practical and teachable. The Human Skills Library was created to help teachers and families explicitly teach these essential skills through engaging stories and practical thinking routines.
